Policy Forum on European MOOCs Brussels, 28 June 2016

After three successful European MOOC events, the HOME project now organises a Policy Forum on European MOOCs in Brussels on 28 June 2016. Policy makers from National governments, Intergovernmental Organisations, higher educational institutions, MOOC platforms and -service providers will attend. As such participating in this event will give great opportunities to network with others and exchange how Europe can collectively strengthen the use of MOOCs for different challenges.

Early 2015 this project revealed that Europe is much more involved in MOOCs compared to the US, and that strategies to be involved in MOOCs differ as well. Since then these results were confirmed by two other independent studies and by the latest HOME survey repeated end 2015.

Please contact Darco Jansen if you wish to attend (limited seats available).  We especially invite policy makers to participate in one of the panel discussions about the MOOC policy of your institution. All policy makers presenting are asked to submit a short policy paper (2-4 pages). All policy papers will be published as a draft report just before the forum for all participants.

This forum will provide great opportunities to network with others and exchange how Europe can collectively strengthen the use of MOOCs for different challenges. The preliminary programme which will be updated regularly.
